Kindy Artists Learn to Draw Frogs with Numbers and Arrows!
This week in art, our kindergarten students took their first leap into drawing frogs — and they did it in a fun and structured way!

Using a bold frog outline marked with numbers and arrows, our little artists followed a clear path to create their drawings step-by-step. This method helps young learners know exactly where to start and what to do next, building their confidence and making the drawing process feel manageable and exciting.

This approach isn’t just for art — it mirrors the same technique used when teaching children how to write letters of the alphabet. By breaking down the steps and guiding them through the process, students begin to understand how complex shapes (like a frog!) are really just simple lines and curves put together in the right order.
The results were adorable, and the kids were so proud of their frogs. More importantly, they’re building foundational skills in observation, sequencing, and fine motor control — all while having fun!
Stay tuned to see how we hop into our next art adventure!
